2Sense Shortie: Which Makeup Girlie Are You?

Updated: Sep 19, 2023

Over the past 10 years, makeup has changed so much. Especially in the most recent years. I must say since the pandemic, the motto has been "less is more." Not sure if it has been because we had to hide behind masks or if the pandemic has just made us realize the full face everywhere we go is simply not as important to us anymore. It makes us wonder if anyone else feels the same way.

**DISCLAIMER: This is no shade to anyone who still loves to wear full glam when they step outside. The world is your runway**

FULL ON GLAMAZON

Let's be honest: full coverage is a process but the outcome is a beautiful canvas. While everyone has their own definition of a "full coverage", here is what our definitions of full glam would intel. Full glam includes: color corrector, liquid foundation, concealer, baking, contour, blush, powder foundation, and setting spray. Let's not forget the eye makeup and lashes. At one point in time, all of the above would be included in our routine every time we stepped outside of the door. There is absolutely nothing wrong with being a full coverage girlie if you have the time to do so.

MINIMAL MAMI

If you are a working, on the go baddie, you probably want full glam on a short schedule. Which means you have to skip a few steps. This may include skipping out on color correction, the baking process, and maybe even the liquid or powder foundation. Usually, you are doing a light beat on the eyes and throw on some whispies to accentuate the eyes. This is a look that says not only am I killing it but I am doing so on the go.

IN-BETWEEN QUEENS

This is the category we are currently in on a daily basis. While we love a full beat and maybe even a minimal one, the in-between light beat is the way to go. Our daily routines usually consists of concealer, lashes, liner, bronzer, and cream blush. This give you that fresh face look in 15 minutes or less. As a working mom, I always want to look and feel my best but sometimes, you just don't have the time. Doing a look that I can do in the car or even at the office is a must.

NATURALISTA BADDIES

Where are all our natural baddies? The freshly washed, freckled face, natural eye, just need a good gloss and go queens at? How does it feel to be God's favorite?! We're kidding but you are definitely defying any beauty standard by just being you. Besides, you are the reason makeup and flawlessness even exists. The key to a beautiful canvas is good and healthy skin (notice we did not say clear skin, but healthy skin). Not all healthy skin is blemish free. You natural ladies/gents are the real MVP's.

So tell us, which category do you fit into when it comes to your glam?

Leave a comment below and let us know are you full glam or serving naturally? Also what is your makeup routine and how long does it take you to get ready for the day?
