6 Daily Habits to Guarantee Yourself a Positive Day
It is very important to have a daily routine. A healthy and positive routine can help set the tone for the day. There is no such thing as waking up on the wrong side of the bed. Every day is a new chapter, so why start off on a positive, high vibrational note. Here are 6 things we make sure to incorporate into our morning routine:
Showing Gratitude:
Gratitude: a feeling of thankfulness or appreciation. Starting your day with statements of gratitude will start your day off on a positive note. Whether it is appreciation for waking up in the morning or being grateful for your material blessings, this will set the tone for your day. Always remember you can easily switch places with someone else and/or your life can simply turn upside down at any moment. Practice the art of gratitude daily.
Make Time for Pampering:
My mom always taught us that when you look good, you feel good. If you wake up feeling bad, make a point to put some extra effort into your look. Maybe if you look good, your good looks will give you the confidence boost that you need to enjoy your day. Say it with us, "when you look good, you feel good"!
Meditation:
Continued or extended thoughts; reflection. Make time to meditate. If we are honest, this is something we are still practicing. However, it is such a good habit to incorporate. When you meditate, you can clear your mind, work through some lingering thoughts, and even see things clearer than ever before.
Make Your Bed:
Honestly this sounds cliché but making your bed every day is a great start to the end of your day. When you get home from work or a long day, having a made-up bed is like opening a gift at the end of each day. What better way to wrap things up than to get in a freshly made bed.
Declutter Your Spaces:
An uncluttered space is an uncluttered mind. It is such a small practice but a powerful adjustment. When your space is organized, you have one less thing to worry about and think about, which helps you stay calm and collected. It definitely decreases stress and anxiety.
Leave work and other situations where you found them:
Do not take work home. Any stress and situations that stem from your job, leave them there. The same goes for any situation that is handled outside of the home. Leave them where you found them and pick them back up when you return. Inviting unwanted stress into your home can change the energy in your home and can even bring unnecessary stress in your relationships at home.

I make it a habit to leave work at work. I don’t want to bring that negativity into my household. I also practice gratitude in the mornings because there are people out there that wish that they had a warm place to sleep at night or a good meal to eat.
