Are Press on Nails Worth It? A Comprehensive Review
If you're looking for a new way to style and beautify your nails without going to a salon, then press-on nails may be the solution. With press-on nails, you can achieve your desired look without the hassle or expense of the conventional acrylic nail job. The real question, however, is whether or not they are worth the investment? Check out the rest of this article to find out if press on nails are actually worth it.
Our Press on Nails Experience
In the past couple of weeks, we've had the chance to try out some press-on nails we recently
purchased from Amazon.com.
We were a bit skeptical at first because we've tried a few brands in the past and found them to be very thin in quality and they would pop off of our nails after just a few days of applying them. However, the Kiara Sky XPress Pro Acrylic Press On Nails brand has really impressed us.
These nails are made from 100 percent acrylic so ditch those cheap plastic false nails. They're also reusable and super easy to apply. One kit comes with 2 sets of nails, nail tabs, cuticle pusher, as well as nail glue and a file/buffer. I also love that there are so many different designs and nail lengths to choose from. We ended up purchasing two boxes of these nails and we definitely don't regard it.
Would you ever consider trying press-on nails?
Press on nails have always been a thing. They were definitely popping in the 1990s especially with the popularity of the brand Lee Press On nails.
In recent years, the press-on nail has made a big comeback, but every trend comes with pros and cons. The following are a few pros and cons to keep in mind.
Pros:
Doing your nails at home - Of course, the biggest pro to trying press on nails is the fact that you can kiss that time spent sitting and waiting at a nail salon goodbye. You'll have the power in your own hands (pun intended) to be as creative as you want to be with your nails.
Reusability - Most press on nails are in fact reusable. This means that if you want to wear them again, you'll be able to as long as you maintain the upkeep of them properly.
Popularity - Since press on nails are becoming increasingly popular nowadays, they are being made with better quality than they were in the past. Also, you can find so many more creative designs anywhere online.
Cons:
You get what you pay for - Press on nails are not created equal. There are some that aren't as good in quality and will therefore leave you with missing nails within a few days after application.
Pricing - Some high-quality press on nails can cost just as much as going to the nail salon and getting a full set of acrylic nails.
In case you are just getting into press on nails and want to try some out, we recommend brands like Kiss Nails, Broadway Nails, and of course Kirara Sky XPress Pro Acrylic Press on Nails.
Conclusion
