LASH OUT AGAIN: 3 ways to get bold/full lashes.
Lashes have become a pivotal part of make up application. Bad lashes are just as noticeable as bad eyebrows and don't let anyone tell you anything differently. Whether you are going the natural route or you want to be bold, dramatic, and CHIQUE (haha, see what I did there), here are some of my personal tips to pick the perfect lashes for you!
The Strip
The old fashion strip lash. I don't know about you but I still love a good strip lash. Strip lashes have come a long way since the lashes you used to purchase at your local hair store. These days, strip lashes come in mink, full, natural, and even whispies. One of my favorite lashes to wear is Miami Flare by Lilly Lashes which is on the higher end and Eylure Faux Mink Lashes on the lower more affordable end. Both brands ca be found at Ulta.
(TIP #1): My personal favorites to apply the lashes is the DUO eyelash adhesive or the Ardell Lash Grip. Both of these products can be found at your local WalGreens, Wal-Mart, CVS, etc. You get the point, right?! Now, my personal tip, I prefer to get an adhesive in black or clear versus white. Keep reading because I will explain why a little later.
The Magnetic
Our last 'Lash Out' post was created to help you learn step by step how to apply your lashes. This is a waaaaaay easier method to lash application. In my opinion, one of the best things since eyebrow stencils. Magnetic lashes are specifically designed for those who would rather do without the lash glue and the salon. They also last all day which is a major plus. You can either get the pair that has a magnetic over-under strip or try a pair that comes with magnetic eye liner. Both options will help you achieve the slay you want to portray.
(TIP #2): Some of your favorite beauty bloggers say to use tweezers ALWAYS when applying lashes. While I have seen others apply them with their hands. Ladies......it is your preference. I personally like to use my hands when applying them on my own lash line but I will use tweezers when applying lashes to my clients. Whether you choose to use your hands or tweezers, make sure your hands and tools are clean (like duh?!).
The Extensions
Lash extensions are the most natural looking lash yet. Your local lash tech can make them look fuller, longer, darker, and bold if you would like. These lashes are so natural because they are placed in between your real lashes or very close to your lash line. Lash extensions can range anywhere from $80 to over $300!!! The pro to getting lash extensions is that they can last up to 6 weeks, depending on the care.

The Lift and Tint
If falsies aren't your thing, no worries we have you covered. Plenty of people are choosing to just lift their own lashes and add tint to give them the appearance of longer and fuller lashes. Lash lifting is when a chemical solution is applied to your lashes with a small brush and curled. Then tint is applied for a more dramatic look. This is definitely a high-end way to keep your lashes looking great for low maintenance. Lash lifts and tint usually last up to 6 to 8 weeks.
Lashes are a great way to look dolled up without applying a lot of makeup. Whatever you choose, lashes are a great way to take your eyes from ok to sis don't play! How do you maintain your lashes? Have you tried any of these methods? Leave a comment below and let us know what you think.
